Education essays can be tough, distinguishing between cognitive and constructive, physiological and biological, behavioral and social, or others. Writing a good education essay may take time, but first you need to get organized. Brainstorm ideas for your essay, start by saying, “I know,” and a short sentence. “I know that pedagogy is the study of teaching children.” When you have a list of about ten related items, pick a few that sound good and develop them – “And we use this information because it defines that in pedagogy teachers are completely responsible for the education of the student, and the student relies completely on the teacher for learning.” As you build on your concepts, you will be able to determine which topic most appeals to your ability to write a good Education essay.

Once you have brought your list down to only 2-3 essay topics of things you know, you will want to begin researching for information. You would not want to pick a topic without information available. Carefully choice your search terms, use a thesaurus if you are unsure of what other words might produce results. Also, do not forget you will need qualified sources, if you are using online resources, be sure to use databases such as EBSCO and ProQuest. If your information is faulty, your grade will be too.

Finally, as you sit down to write think clearly, about how you want to organize your paper – begin with an introduction, three paragraphs for your body, and a conclusion. Some papers will only require 1-2 paragraphs in the body; however, effective papers typically have three paragraphs. Your introduction tells your reader what they will read, your body tells them about the material, and your conclusion tells your reader what they read. Keep in the important points and you can write a good Education essay.
